Costa Rica Day 11: we took a guided tour into Manuel Antonio National Park. Our guide was phenomenal. She found sloths, a Fer De Lance (snake) right on the side of the path, interesting lizards, and lots of monkeys! The white faced monkey (Capuchin) is known as the “Mafia” in the park. They will jump onto a person and steal their bag, their snacks, or generally just bully guests if they happen to be nearby. So while taking this video, we were all simultaneously fascinated and a tiny bit terrified of having a monkey jump on our heads. 😆

Day 9: we were surrounded by squirrel monkeys (the most endangered monkey in Costa Rica) at our house outside of Manuel Antonio National Park. They are painfully cute. This was one of my favorite things about Costa Rica, the plethora of wildlife at every turn and in peaceful coexistence with humans. The kids were obviously in heaven. 🐒
