A friend spent this pass weekend here, and left a good note.
“15 minutes from downtown Dublin, GA hidden in the woods on the bank of the Oconee River lies a perfect getaway for those seeking peace and tranquility. Beautiful stretches of wild Fairy Lilies were in bloom throughout the woods surrounding us while the pond yielded a Channel Catfish 🐟to Grandma's skill with a cane pole. We had friendly visits from some of the local wildlife including muskrat🦨 wild turkey🦃 and fox 🐺squirrel🐿 We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this river retreat. We'll certainly be back[愉快]”

It is a raining day, but the countryside is so beautiful. We were driving along highway 19 from East Dublin to Shady Field Boat Ramp road. Beautiful river, creek, pond, and sun flower fields are lined up along the road. We also saw a farm selling live chickens, rabbits and fresh eggs. We bought a young rooster. The friendly owner gave us some potatoes, canned peppers, and a pound of wild hog sausages. What a fun day!
Come visit Dublin. You can fish in the beautiful Oconee River and enjoy the beautiful countryside while you stay in River Run Getaway!
