I loved hiking through Kanarra Falls! It was under an hour to the trailhead in Kanarraville from our chalet in Duck Creek Village, Utah. After the first mile, you start to hike through streams of water until you reach your first water fall at 1.6 mile marker was so much fun! We had to climb around the right side of the huge boulder, which is fall number two, to continue to fall three. It was about four miles round trip. We had to book a permit to reserve a spot. I highly recommend this hike. Thank you to our past guest Kelley K. for sharing about their fun Summer 2023 here! I've been so excited to try it! I love learning of the fun our guests do and sharing the recommendations to future and past guests!

Our West Bedroom over the last three years has gone from three bunks, to two bunks, and now one bunk. We like the more open feel with the full-size bed and twin separated. The whole chalet can sleep 9-10 people: West bedroom upper level (5) if the full-size bed is shared, East bedroom upstairs (2) with a Queen bed, and our main level master has a King bed. We do have a roll-a-away twin bed on the lower level.

Here’s a quick video of a hike we just did on Sept 3rd. If you like slot canyons and want to hike in and along a small river, this is something you’ll want to do. Kanarra Falls. Reservations required, $15 per person, but well worth it!

It’s been awesome to hear guests loving their stay! I’d love to be out there on our kayak on Navajo Lake or enjoying coffee on the deck. I’m glad we got out there in April to set up our Solo Stove Wood-burning Firepit. We enjoy driving over to Zion- and it’s a tradition it seems to stop just across from Checkerboard Mesa and the guys climb up and take in the view. Hopefully, early September we can go again.
