ANNOUNCING - Music On The Ship: A Free Concert Series on the William A Irvin 🎶🚢

When Singer/ Songwriter Charity Benedict returned to Duluth, she was looking for a unique venue to bring local musicians. Music On The Ship is her vision & creation!

Benedict says, “I wanted to find a really cool place that had never showcased local musicians and bring those two worlds together, vibe and energy." Because of her efforts, we'll be VIBING for six Thursdays this summer!

Starting July 25, the Irvin will feature a variety of genres (from jazz to hard rock to 80's pop) performed by local musicians:

Each concert is 90 minutes and begins at 6:30 p.m. The first 5 concerts will be held at Chester Park and the final four will be held at Lincoln Park.

🎶🎵🎶 We are excited to announce our Duluth Parks & Recreation’s Music in the Park series is now at TWO LOCATIONS – Chester Park and Lincoln Park! The first half of the concert series will take place on the Chester Park stage, with the second half taking place at the newly renovated Lincoln Park stone pavilion. Concerts will be held from June 18 - Aug. 13, with one rain date built in at the end. All concerts are from 6:30-8 p.m.
Want to apply to play? If you and your band is interested in applying to be a part of our summer Music in the Park series, please fill out the online application. The submission portal will close on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 4 p.m.
