Dear Death Trail Friends, Fans, and Family,
For 14 seasons The Death Trail has been a source of great entertainment and memorable experiences for the citizens of our community and beyond. Over those years we have seen thousands of people walk into our woods and encounter chills and thrills or scares that care as we like to say. Above all, we know that many received motivation at the end of the trail to experience hope through Jesus Christ.
Our mission for each season since 2009 was to give each guest a quality attraction while showing what the darkness of this world can bring, and what the light of Christ can overcome.
Each season we embraced new faces and created lasting relationships that still grow today. Our staff grew from just a few in 2009 to over 150 in recent years as everyone worked together to carry out our mission. It has been a wonderful ride and we are so grateful that we have had these 14 years of bringing this kind of event to Prince William and surrounding counties.
It is with very mixed emotions that we announce that The Death Trail will be closed this season and for the foreseeable future. Many issues both in and beyond our control led to this decision.
Our hope is to take some time off and return in the future with another great seasonal attraction and mission oriented event that will be an incredible destination for all people in our area. The future is bright and we are so grateful for everyone that has supported us with your presence through the years.
A huge thank you to all of our staff and volunteers for the many days of sacrificing your time and talents to make this event a success
We hope that the mission of this event made a lasting and eternal impact on all who attended or worked or volunteered.
Remember, death is not the end, and God has a desire that you be with Him forever!
We love each of you, our family, friends and fans, and we know that there is Life After Death (trail).
God bless you and we are always here for you !
