Two interesting reads that remind us of why Labor Day is so important. It first began in 1882 in New York City when 10,000 workers took unpaid time off to march from City Hall to Union Square. It then became a national holiday in 1894 when President Cleveland signed it into law. Let's rest well on Monday and celebrate the progress and welfare for workers in America.
