Attention IPNC travelers. What are you doing Monday after the event?

We're hosting a Choose Your Own Hop on Hop Off Adventure. Featuring two winery routes that allow you to indulge in MO MO PINOT (for those who can't get enough pinot) or NO MO PINOT (for those who've had enough pinot).

This is a shared tour where guests can choose which route inspires them. The route features 5-6 wineries in the Carlton area that either highlight pinot noir or alternative varietals. Plus, you get to check another Willamette Valley hot spot, Carlton, off your bucket list.

Being on time is the corner stone of our business.

Our billing is based on time not amount of people. This means we have an obligation to our clients to be on time. And our guests have an unspoken obligation to stay on time, after all, they do not want to go over the time they've already invested in.

Being on time is what makes our clients trust us. We do things like show up early, provide a 15 minute heads up at each location. But in our business, we also put a lot of trust into the businesses we pass off our guests off to. If they don't do their part to keep to their advertised tasting time, that can really make the day challenging for our tour operators.

When we care about timing, we all benefit.

- It allows hosts/servers more time to inquire about sales and follow up opportunities.

- It ensures our guests are on time for their next appointment

- It ensures guests are not charged for additional time, when they are at the mercy of those hosting them.

The next time we are late, please assume we are doing our best to keep the symphony of logistics in check and that our first priority is always to be on time.

We have a policy to ensure our communication with consumers always positive spin on it. It's our goal to ensure every person who inquires, are greeted with outstanding hospitality and leave our communication excited for their visit, even if we are not the ones providing a service.⁠

There is always a way for us all to offer solutions versus say we can’t help you. We love connecting guests to other companies. The bottom line is, when they are taken care of, we all benefit.⁠

Last weekend, 45 people from Hamilton Construction joined us in Dundee for a day of wine and spirits tasting! The group had catered lunch, private spaces, custom flights, and a special guest - Westward Whiskey.⁠

We were able to show folks from all over the northwest what the Willamette Valley is all about. The wineries that hosted know how to make an event feel custom and special. They also share the same philosophies about customer service.⁠

Members of this group live near wine country and are even part of the wine industry. But that doesn't mean they've got it all covered.

There is something to be said for safe transportation, where nobody has to drive or cut themselves off. It's also amazing to have all the logistics taken care of including an Itinerary designed, reservations made and someone to keep you on track during your tour.

It's also fun to learn from them too :)

Before this beautiful moment, when we get to work in our mobile office withe a view, we shared many emails and phone calls with our guests and wineries. ⁠

First, we get to know our guests - their preferences, reason for their visit, desired experiences. ⁠
⁠
Then we play match maker - pairing guest considerations with winery experiences and policies.⁠
⁠
This is no small task. There are 400+ wineries in the North Willamette Valley. Let's pretend we've narrowed it down to 10 that we'd like to consider for our guest. That's 80 variables that we had to coordinate to ensure this guests get's the best possible experience and so does the winery.

The wine industry should be enthusiastic to host these groups. They are full of love and excitement. They have chosen our tiny corner of the earth to relax and try new things. ⁠

If you embrace the energy of these groups, they will surprise you with their joyous spirit. Don't be afraid to butt-in and share your own stories. They want to engage, even if it's hard to break into the conversation. Trust me, it's worth it when you do.⁠

When I drop these women off, I am overwhelmed by the love and loyalty of their friendships. I find myself feeling grateful for my own network of women, for which I couldn't get through this crazy life without. ⁠

A visit to wine country is a wonderful way to celebrate a signature birthday. Even in the Cellar Season. Wine tasting is just as much in indoor activity as it is an outdoor one. While it poured all day, they ladies were cozy inside enjoying the tasting room refresh thanks to the snow storm the week prior.

HOT TIP: Thanks to these ladies punctuality, the day was smooth and relaxing.
