Picking the perfect minnow-scoping rod can be a daunting task, but it shouldn't be. Keep in mind, the perfect scoping rod will vary from angler to angler. However, there's a few things to keep in mind when doing so ⬇️⬇️

The first thing to always consider when picking the perfect all-around scoping rod is the Rod Power and Action. The most versatile rod's you can pick from are going to be those with a Medium Power and a Fast Action. This will give you a rod that has enough backbone and tip to get a good hook into the fish when it bites, but not too much of a backbone and tip to where it rips/bends the hook out.

The other aspect of the rod to pay attention to is the length. The most well-rounded scoping rods are going to be 7'. This length has enough rod to sling the minnow out a distance accurately, yet still is short enough to give a variety of twitches to enhance the presentation.

Don't the wide variety of Spinning rods overwhelm you when picking out a scoping rod.
