We here at Eagle River Getaways LLC love animals and some of you that have stayed as our guests may have seen our Wilson's Wish coffee mugs and wondered what they were about. 🐾 Woof woof! Hey there, paw-some pals! 🐶 Just wanted to bark out a HUGE thank you to our amazing humans for bringing us to Breakfast at Tiffany’s for the most pawsitively perfect weekend getaway! 🏡 From the cozy beds to the endless belly rubs, we felt like a true VIPS (Very Important Pups) the whole time! 🌟 🎉 So here’s a big sloppy kiss and wag of the tail to Eagle River Getaways for making our stay tail-waggingly terrific! 🐾 Can’t wait to come back and do it all over again! 🐾❤️

So little snow, so many event cancellations… 🥲🥲🥲

Don’t mind us, we are just over here wiping our tears and planning for warm weather shenanigans ahead!!

It’s going to be almost 50 next week, anyone up for golf? 😉

But seriously folks, we know with the trails closed, no ice castle, and pond hockey kaput this year, it’s not ideal for us winter adventurers… instead we will have January/February campfires, ice fish (or just fish cause ya know), explore the hiking/biking trails, sprinkle merriment at local establishments, listen to live music, enjoy hockey at the Dome courtesy of and , and all around be the “jolliest bunch of you know whats this side of the nuthouse” 😂😂😂

Our favorite working dog Odin wants to be TOP DOG after spending most of his life in the shadows as an "experimental dog" at the University of MN... He wants you to put your feet up after a long day while he brings you a custom beer named after him! He's ironed his collar (took awhile to find it😂) and groomed all day (so much hair!). But Odin can't bring you a beer tonight because there are 17 days left in the Top Dog Competition by Misfit Mutts Dog Rescue and while he is currently holding strong at #1, he needs your help!

Wilson's Wish is an animal sanctuary near and dear to our hearts here at Eagle River Getaways LLC. It takes a village to rescue and care for the 50+ animals currently residing there. So pop on over and check out their story and while you're at it, vote for Odin so he can have his moment in the sun!!
