An inch or two of snow is on deck Thursday evening for areas generally north of Highway 8. Last year, on Halloween, Rhinelander picked up 2.3" of snow. That's going to be a stretch with this system. None of this is expected to accumulate on road surfaces with ground temperatures still well above freezing.
