Nestled on 10 wooded acres and 535 feet of sandy shoreline on Dam Lake, the largest of the five lake Sugar Camp Chain. Accommodations range from two to five bedrooms, with up to three bathrooms. Whether you are looking for a traditional Northwoods cabin or a large vacation home with all the comforts of home, we have what you are looking for at Maplewood Resort. Each offers a fully equipped kitchen, lakeside deck, fireplace, satellite TV, and free Wi-Fi. Many offer air-conditioning, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and whirlpool tubs.
Sixty percent of the shoreline of the Sugar Camp Chain is state owned, assuring you a tranquil setting without too much boat traffic. Our sand beach is one of the nicest in the area, and the sunsets are not to be missed. Watch eagles as they soar overhead, and listen to the cry of the loon.
We offer on-site fishing boat, pontoon boat, WaveRunner rentals, and gas sales. Enjoy free use of the docks, swim raft, paddle boat, kayaks, and canoes.
