We are among many of the lucky organizations to have Hal as part of our rodeo team! Hal is our junior rodeo announcer and resident expert of all the happenings of rodeo in Idaho. He is a prime representation of Western Heritage and the community we love.

Thank you Hal for all you do for Eagle Rodeo and CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations to Hal Coburn on his induction into The Idaho Rodeo Hall of Fame, October 11th & 12th, 2024.

Hal Coburn, born in Saint Anthony, Idaho, has made significant contributions to Idaho rodeo as an announcer. After relocating from California to Garden Valley, Idaho, Hal began his announcing career in 1989 with 4-H play days and junior rodeos. His passion for the sport quickly expanded to include high school rodeos, ICA events, team roping’s, and horse expos.
Hal’s career flourished as he teamed up with horse trainer Chris Cox, announcing at Cox’s seminars across several states. Now based in Meridian, Idaho, Hal continues to announce and photograph prominent rodeo events, including the Snake River Stampede and Caldwell Night Rodeo. His enduring commitment to the rodeo community and his role in celebrating rodeo athletes make him a deserving inductee into the Idaho Rodeo Hall of Fame.
