What an amazing day with incredible people! Laughter amid the buzz of chainsaws, hard work, and friendship was what today entailed. It has been 2-1/2 months since Hurricane Helene left her mark on Lakepoint. Today, with a group headed up by our friend Jim Corey, we got trees and debris removed and placed in a pile where SCDOT can haul it off. Ten loads of logs and debris! This is our pickleball group from South Cove in Seneca, SC. All they needed to hear Jim say was “help needed” and they came to the rescue. Extremely grateful today for these friends!

Loved this little cabin on the water. It was perfectly adorned with everything I needed. I was there for work but this lovely place gave me the feeling of bliss and relaxation. The host was very communicative and kind. I would definitely stay again!

Loved this cabin. Just when I thought I was done with Airbnbs, you’ve proved some hosts do care. Thank you for the communication and providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The Boat House was quiet and peaceful, very clean and well stocked. We had a wonderful stay!

I loved this little cabin so much. My social media story would confirm as much. I arrived at night so it was a treat to wake up to a beautiful lake and woods. I was worried I wouldn't find the lockbox but its impossible to miss, in fact. The cabin was clean, cozy, and smelled nice. I really liked that there were multiple places outside to sit and enjoy the beautiful nature. I would love to come back again in the future and take out the kayaks! I would definitely recommend this cabin.

We LOVED our stay at The Cabin! It was everything we were wanting in a fall weekend getaway. Only 20 minutes from Downtown Greenville, but felt like you were in the country. Relaxing, peaceful, and an overall outstanding property. Sherri was very communicative and accommodating throughout our stay. We will be back!

This is our second time staying at Sherri's Lodge. We enjoyed it so much last year, we went back. It's perfect for a peaceful, relaxing get away and only 20 minutes from downtown Greenville. Travel with a toddler is different than life before kids, and I've found that half the vacation is finding a nice place to stay because we don't get out and about as easily or often as we used to. Sherri's is perfect for a family getaway.

Work is starting in our area! This is at the top of Pistol Club Road, headed toward Ridge Point. Projected time for power is 11:45 pm Sunday, October 6th.

Hurricane Helene marked her spot in history. Thankful for no real damage - trees can be removed and kayaks can be replaced. Chainsaws welcome - free firewood!

An aluminum wall on the front porch of the Main Lodge at Lakepoint on the Saluda was finished today. The irises are in full bloom, spring has arrived, new swings are ready to be put to use! Come see us! Our Airbnbs are some of the best in the upstate!
