❤️ Our hearts go out to those that have been affected by the flooding around the state and especially within our communities today. Due to excessive flooding in surrounding towns, many roads are closed and unsafe. To clarify, we are not recommending travel to this region and please take care if you must travel. As for trail conditions, the network is open and our crew is out assessing for damage. As they find any, our trail conditions page at kingdomtrails.org/trail-conditions will be updated. Undoubtedly conditions across the network will be very wet. If you plan to ride, choose a route on Darling Hill which holds the best draining soil and stay high, avoiding the river. This Saturday, September 30th, the Burke Fall Foliage Festival returns to the village of East Burke! If you are planning a visit to the trails this weekend, there are a couple of very important details to note:

On Saturday from 9:45 AM-10:45 AM, Route 114 will be closed for the parade from Pinkham Rd. to the East Burke Fire Station. To bypass the village, if coming from Lyndonville, take a right off Route 114 on Mt. Hunger Rd. and take it all the way to Mountain Rd.

There will be NO road crossings during the parade. You must wait until the parade is over to cross the closed section of the road. Please plan accordingly.

Mike's Tiki Bar parking lot will be open, but expect heavier than usual traffic in that area. We recommend parking at another parking location. The Dashney Lot or Burke Mtn's Sherburne Base Lodge lot are recommended if taking the Mt.Hunger Rd. village bypass route. Find all KT parking locations listed at kingdomtrails.org/parking

Also on Saturday, the Crown Connection Community Shuttle will be running, but stopped during the parade... For shuttle info and the regular shuttle schedule visit kingdomtrails.org/parking

Throughout Saturday the 30th, East Burke Village will be hustling and bustling with festival goers! Expect congestion and slow-moving traffic. Please drive slowly and ! Thank you all!
