Happy June 1st! The season of cruising is upon us. 🚢

1st time cruisers it can be a little overwhelming. No worries, Blue Waters WorldWide Travel has got you covered! Here are a few terms you should know:

1st things 1st: Ship! It’s a ship, not a boat! 😄

Embarkation = First day boarding the ship 🎉🎊💃🏾

Starboard = Right side

Port= Left side

Aft= Back of ship

Lido deck= Main sun deck where pools and food generally is.

MDR= Main dining room. Dinner service, brunch and table breakfast service.

Tender = A small boat that takes you from the ship to the shore when there is no pier. It can be rocky at times. No worries you’ll be fine.

Disembarkation = A very sad day 😭🤣
