Our thoughts every Memorial Day include reflecting on the powerful impact had on us of walking the hallowed grounds of The Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial located in Colleville-sur-Mer, France. Truly the Greatest Generation. When you see me, Don Anderson, next, ask me to share a story that happened while there that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. An absolute must-visit on our trip to DC was time at The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Over 58,000 thousand names are on the almost 247 ft wall. We were particularly honored to be with our dear friends, Jim Holben and his wife, Cheryl. Jim served our Nation in Vietnam in the US Marine Corps. Semper Fi.
