Just another Sunday practice! Our senior team turns are on pointe! These kids have worked so hard and you can too! We have an advanced turning class every Sunday from 3:00-3:30PM. The class includes balance work, technique, pirouettes, A La Secondes, floats, changing spots, reverse, changing spots, combos and the new swinging A La Secondes, plus many more. We are always looking for new trends to work on and the focus of this class is to improve all turning technique. We also have a junior, turning class that focuses on spotting, balance, leg placement, hip strengthening, and all other technique required for turning. This class works on pirouettes from singles to quints. An A La Seconde progression drill that teaches every step to acquiring the skills to be able to perform A La Secondes. We then work on group A La Secondes ranging from 2 to 10 and beyond. This group also works on floats and changing spots and it’s perfect for the beginning Turner. please call or text the number at the end of this video if you are interested in either of the classes or a private class to improve your turning technique. Our dance teams consistently win platinum‘s and first overall and are multi year national champions. We would love to see you join our teams.

Any hip hop students/parents that would like to go they’re giving us a 20%discount. We would not have class that day. We would still meet at the studio and all drive together. It would be a great team building exercise and I would really like for all of my students to get to experience this. It is being put on by the Bloomington center for the performing arts. Please text Miss Shannon at 309–2 58–9955 and let her know if you are planning to attend and how many tickets you would need. Tickets are 31 or $39 depending on which seats we would like.

Watch us on WEEK25 News tomorrow morning with reporter Jolie Rodriguez at 4:30, 5:30, 6:30 and 9AM, as she highlights us as the ONLY STUDIO in the area to incorporate breakdancing in their hip hop dances and then watch as breakdancing is finally showcased in the Olympics this weekend. Interviewed today were Miss Shannon, and students Kali Mcvey, and Olivia Seifert to talk about how the Breakdancing in the Olympics and in their own studio has impacted their lives and inspired them. Kali, Olivia, and Harper Stockton danced and tricked for the cameras and everyone had a great time. It’s about time this amazing sport received recognition for the extreme athleticism and creativity it fosters.
