Spotted, In The Trees, at Baldface Circle Trail in Evans Notch. Just a 25-minute drive from the property. Deemed the most magnificent hike in the White Mountains in terms of breathtaking views. A challenging 9.8 mile loop, up the Baldfaces-the two most challenging summits in the Evans Notch area.

Another *must see* while staying with us, Screw Auger Falls! Located in Grafton Notch State Park, this 23-foot tall waterfall runs along a rugged stretch of the Bear River. The river has carved out a gorge with many great swimming holes. It’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature’s beauty.

Absolutely worth the 40 minute drive from the treehouses, Step Falls Preserve includes land on both sides of Wight Brook in Newry, Maine. The brook flows over open ledges and potholes creating numerous pools suitable for wading, swimming, and sunning. Along the edges of the pools are broad, mostly flat, sunny granite slabs that meet every requirement for a relaxing picnic. The ¾ mile trail provides access to the Falls.
