American Oystercatcher - I always enjoy the rarer sightings of these birds in the Marsh! Their large, heavy beak is used to pry open bivalves and other sea creatures and only raise a clutch of two or three eggs.

A Great Egret lurking around on the marsh for his next meal! These birds have around a 4.5 ft wingspan and with their long neck, can stand over 4 feet tall! They can be spotted all over the marsh on our tours and are always a pleasure to kayak with.

Do you like an ice cold beer after a day out on the water? I'm psyched to say that Great Marsh Kayak Tours has collaborated with to bring you a sweet offer! When you take a tour with us, you can get one of these cards and show it when you order a drink at Devils Purse and receive a free glass! Massachusetts has weird laws about giving away free or discounted beer, but a free pint glass to take home is a pretty sweet deal, plus their beer is great!

Come join us this summer on our newly added tour through the Cape Cod Bay and Marsh leaving from Rock Harbor in Orleans! With clear bay water, mazy marsh channels and nice sandy beaches, it's hard to beat on a nice summer day!
