Unique places to stay: treehouses/tree cabins, a glamping experience and a suite in the main retreat house. In May 2016, Stan and Denise, purchased and spent a year renovating. Stan had long dreamed of creating a retreat place for people to escape the daily life grind. The Wood family has built several treehouses and other amenities to share with guests. Currently, the retreat has the following d

estinations:
- Graham’s Treehouse/cabin
- Serenity Creek Treehouse/cabin
- Courtney’s Cottage - a tiny house (a temporary structure on the glamming site)
- The Suite in the main house
- Whispering Elm Treehouse (opening Spring 2021)

Please exercise caution when enjoying the peaceful acreage with 2 + miles of well maintained trail in this rugged valley. Please stay on maintained trails and obey all signs. This acreage is extremely secluded, quiet, and peaceful. It is nearly 100% wooded with old growth oaks, elms, and other trees. You will find yourself renewed after experiencing all the valley has to offer. You are going to love it here!!

Look at these Coasters!! Thank you, Master Craftsman, Ryan Bosse, Bosse Woodworks . (Visit his page to see many other amazing woodworking creations.) These coasters are made from sapele wood, water sealed with a protective coating and have cork backing. Now available for purchase $7 each, or a set of 4 for $25. PM if interested in purchasing. The Bosse name might sound familiar to long time followers. Ryan’s father, Darrel, is a woodworking master loghome builder. He made many of the tables and wood accent pieces at the retreat.

Our Story

This peaceful property was once a priest's retreat. We purchased it in May 2016 and spent a year renovating. Our plan is to share this special place with adults only for a peaceful escape from daily lives.. The working plan (2016) is to add 3 treehouses, an outdoor pavilion, a bathhouse and limit spaces for camping.

As of 2019, Hidden Valley has two treehouses/ treecabins, Graham’s Treehouse and Serenity Creek Treehouse, a Retreat Suite in the main house and a tiny house on the Glamping Site. The tiny house, Courtney’s Cottage, is here on a temporary basis. A pavilion and bathhouse are next on the list!

The trail systems is continually expanding! Spring 2019 has the hiking trails expanded to approximately 2 miles.... and growing! Take the short hike, or the long trek. There are several places to stop and relax along the way. Please stay on maintained trails and obey all signs. Trail maps are provided. This acreage is extremely secluded, quiet, and peaceful. It is nearly 100% wooded with old growth oaks, elms, and other trees. You will find yourself renewed after experiencing all the valley has to offer. Interaction with Guests We love to meet our guests, but your privacy and renewal time is our priority. You may see us when outdoors. As possible, we will limit maintenance activities while guests are enjoying the property.
