It's such a fun week to visit the Forgotten Coast.

Over the past 20 years, more than 100 Invited Artists and dozens of teaching faculty have participated in the Forgotten Coast en Plein Air. Each artist has left his or her mark, and helped bring the message of using plein air painting to document our ever-changing part of the Forgotten Coast. This year, the artists being honored as recipients of the Richard M. Carrell Distinguished Artist Award are wonderful examples of those who have not only impacted our annual event, but also made their mark in the greater arts community in a way that represents all of our artists well.

Maggie is an Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart of gold! She is playful without being rambunctious. She loves snuggles! She even knows sit! This low-key girl is looking for her new home.

Maggie is around 60 pounds, does well with other dogs and I'm told she does well with children. She is heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccines. She does have allergies and arthritis but they are very well managed!! She takes Zyrtec at dinner time and carprofen twice a day.

2024 PERFORMER ANNOUNCEMENT!

Local favorites, RE & TIM (Robert E. Mason and Tim Dutrow) serve up an eclectic mix of songs that span the genres, from the Grateful Dead, Neil Young, and Pink Floyd to the Beatles, George Gershwin, and Ray Charles. Tim hails from Santa Rosa Beach and has been a percussionist since 1978, drumming in a variety of bands including the Bo Spring Band, the John Sutton Band, the Mat Hall Trio, and with David Lynn. Robert E. has performed in bands since the 1970s and rounds out the group with guitar and vocals. These guys love performing and serving up a big dose of joy with their music. Give them a warm welcome to a porch somewhere in Apalach on October 12.❤
