Made 600 pounds of sand from glass bottles in 4 hours today.

Thank you Andy Bass for helping with the prep work!

[Note: It takes time to remove the metal and plastic rings and metal wrapping from these bottles. Paper labels are fine to leave on].

Thanks to everyone who takes time to come see us every 2nd and 4th Sat between 9-11 at the Apalachicola Yacht Club .

Please don't drop off cans or bottles on other days. We don't want to wear out our welcome with the generous Yacht Club folks !!

The Annual Red Pepper Run is a fun and healthy way to start off your St. George Island 43rd Annual Charity Chili Cook Off day. Race, jog, walk or crawl the 5k course down East Pine Ave.

*Registration opens at 7am at Paddy's Raw Bar.
*Race begins at 8am at the SGI Firehouse.

Bring your family, friends, pets and smiles to start out your Chili Cook Off on the right foot. Awards immediately following the race!

It's such a fun week to visit the Forgotten Coast.

Over the past 20 years, more than 100 Invited Artists and dozens of teaching faculty have participated in the Forgotten Coast en Plein Air. Each artist has left his or her mark, and helped bring the message of using plein air painting to document our ever-changing part of the Forgotten Coast. This year, the artists being honored as recipients of the Richard M. Carrell Distinguished Artist Award are wonderful examples of those who have not only impacted our annual event, but also made their mark in the greater arts community in a way that represents all of our artists well.
