Surge Performance Sound Stage Production for Live Events Owner/Proprietor William J. (Jim) Wickstrom is Chief Engineer of Surge Performance Sound.

Jim is also a performing musician and vocalist, and he employs other performers on his crew whenever possible. This, along with extensive on-the-job experience, gives him and his crew direct insight into the needs and desires of stage performers in a real-world, time-sensitive context. They are able to communicate equally well with performers and technical staff, in order to meet requirements and schedules.

Provided live sound reinforcement for Notre Dame Prep & Marist Academy's "Concert on the Hill" in Pontiac, MI yesterday (June 1st). Forcast was for OVERCAST and a slight chance of rain, so I decided NOT to apply any sunscreen---MISTAKE---I'm paying for it now! Anyway---it was another good show by the kids!
