Sunday Air Show Schedule alert!

⭐️ IMPORTANT SCHEDULE UPDATE (7 AM - SUNDAY) ⭐️

We are flipping the script a little bit with the schedule for our event on Sunday, June 29.

✈️ NEW AIR SHOW START TIME = 11:40 a.m.
✈️ U.S. NAVY BLUE ANGELS PERFORMANCE TIME = 2 p.m.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels plan to fly a full demonstration, and this earlier start time should help to make that happen. Gates open at 8:30 a.m. ➡️ If you already have tickets, purchasing a parking pass online ahead of time will expedite entry onto the grounds. 👍

The Chippewa Valley Air Show takes place Saturday and Sunday, June 28 & 29, with road closures and traffic changes starting Thursday, June 26. Please watch for signage, message boards, and road closures on show days and follow directions from Wisconsin State Patrol personnel stationed at key intersections before, during, and after the event.

Traffic Impact Details:
-Thursday, June 26: Traffic around the airport will be affected from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
-Friday, June 27: Traffic around the airport will be affected from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
-Saturday & Sunday, June 28 & 29: Starting at 8:30 a.m., there will be a one-way flow of traffic TO the show. In the afternoon, traffic flow AWAY from the show will begin for those leaving the area.

The show is Saturday and Sunday, but preparation for the event will impact traffic around the airport on Thursday and Friday. Watch for signage, message boards and road closures on show days.

- Thursday, June 26: Traffic around the airport will be affected from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Friday, June 27: Traffic around the airport will be affected from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday, June 28 & 29: A one-way flow of traffic TO the show will begin at 8:30 a.m. Traffic flow AWAY from the show will begin in the afternoon for those leaving the show area.

Wisconsin State Patrol will be at key intersections before, during, and after the show.

🚫 Roads closed during the show include:
- East Riverview Dr: From Airport Rd to below the hill
- Airport Rd: From Rivercrest Dr to Neptune Ave
- North Lane: From Comet Ave to Starr Ave
- Starr Ave: From Eddy Lane to Melby St
- Melby St: From Starr Ave to White Ave.

⬆️⬇️ One Way Traffic:
- Starr Ave: From Eddy La northbound to the Airport begins at 8:30am.
- Melby St West: From White Ave to the Airport begins at 8:30 am.

Both of these one way roads switch at 3:00 p.m. to support outbound air show traffic.
There are emergency lanes open all day.
