Today marks the end of a 35 + year journey. A journey that was filled with adventure, selfless service, stress, trainings, deployments, missed birthdays, holidays and countless important times throughout these years.
Today, his boots and uniform will be packed away forever. He's giving so much of himself for our freedom. It brings tears of joy to my eyes and so so much pride to have been traveling alongside him for over 25 years.
He wants no accolades, but he DESERVES them.
