The trail goes past a beaver pond but is closed during the spring Mud Season. The hike can be done by children or non-athletes. In summertime, kids and grown-ups sit in the granite polls under the falls for a (very cold) shower!

This is the river at Moss Glen Falls, about ten miles from the home. A parking area is provided and the hike is about a mile from the trailhead to the falls. Hilly but not strenuous, this is a popular hike. TIP: stop by the roadside stand just south of the Falls for a creamy!

The Henge, a secluded garden for contemplation that's modelled after Scottish stone monuments, is nearly complete (spring 2021). Enjoy quiet beauty amidst ancient stones with stone benches. What a great spot to think, to talk, to sing, to pray or do yoga.

Lake Eden, about 20 miles north of Stowe and 30 minutes from Jay Peak and Stowe mountain, is a clear lake of about 200 acres. Loch Ne'amh is on the southeast edge of the lake in a calm area that's ideal for swimming, watersports, and relaxing. The water is often glass-like and is extremely clear and clean. Jet Skis are not permitted on the lake, but other boats are allowed. Fishing is very good, especially brown trout and small mouth bass (the state record small mouth came from Lake Eden). The property itself is 7.5 acres and is usually very quiet. The skies at night often have a brilliant moon and star show, which is visible from the outdoor spa.

Four bedrooms, including two master suites with large en-suite baths with oversize showers and built in dressers and shelving. The 'family' bedroom has three twin size bunks plus a queen-size bed. Total sleeping capacity is 11.
