Last week we were able to donate to two different local churches, for two separate causes. Both of which are so dear to my heart. We were also able to donate again to a local thrift store!
I absolutely love receiving donations for those who do not know who to donate to! I work with different people weekly and get phone calls for families needing all kinds of items.
Please DO NOT hesitate to call me if you or a family is in need. I run out of these items some times as quickly as I get them. However, I also accept donations and I am always accepting new clients.
Thank you to God for making this possible and to my clients who are so amazing! This is such a gratifying job for me that I hope to continue for years to come! Thank you for the continued support and love!

Why does something seem to be missing towards the photo's left edge? The main part of the modern Shepard-Pruden Memorial Library structure was not built until the mid-1960's (with an addition in the early 2000's), as the Library was originally located inside the Cupola House!
Within Our Power: The Story of the Edenton Ladies' Tea Party by Sally Walker and illustrated by Jonathan Voss is coming soon! Proofs have arrived and it is stunning. It will be available in time for the 250th anniversary of the resolves. Stay tuned for information about a book signing event in Edenton in October.
Many of the clothes in the book are inspired by actual costumes worn by interpreters at Tryon Palace
The children's book aimed at children in grades 3-5 will be available from UNC Press and at bookstores and gift shops all around the state.
