July-Mid October is time for the annual Wildebeeste Migration. More than 1.5 Million Wildebeeste, about 350K Thompson's gazelles and thousands of Elands move from the Serengeti plains in Tanzania and cross the Mara river into Masai Mara in search of the lush new green grazing grounds. This river crossings provide a spectacle to behold, as each animal has to face the challenge of crocodile-infested river and other predators

While the humans masked up 😷and social distanced, the animals in our parks got more play time and reproduced.
The rainy season in Masai Mara begins roughly from mid-late March and lasts more or less until the end of June. Many animals give birth in the wet seasons when food and water are in plenty. This is a good opportunity to watch as baby animals discover their world for the first time. It is also a good time to see the dramatic life-and-death scenes of predator and prey interactions as they take full advantage of the plenty inexperienced younger prey.
