We had an amazing time making memories and exploring in Maui this past week! Hawai’i is so diverse and has so many unique opportunities that you can’t see/do anywhere else in the world. I would love to help you plan a trip to any of the islands, but today I am going to focus on my favorite things about Maui so here are my top 10 reasons to visit Maui🏝️💙
1. The humpback whales! You can see them anytime you look out at the ocean pretty much, but there are cool tours that will take you out by boat or kayak to get a closer experience!
2. Go to the top of the dormant volcano, Haleakala, for a sunrise or sunset or for some of the best star gazing you will find anywhere in the world!
3. Road to Hana-with 620 winding curves and 59 bridges it is one of the most epic drives filled with lush scenery, dramatic seascapes, and flowing waterfalls, a black sand beach, a red sand beach, and too many other hidden gems to count.
4. Waterfall hikes to swim under waterfalls. Maui is a great place to do so many awesome waterfall hikes, and either jump into a refreshing pool or swim under a waterfall.
5. Snorkeling. Snorkeling in general is awesome almost anywhere you go. You will see a sea turtle pretty much anytime you go snorkeling!
6. Sunsets! It’s hard to beat dramatic lush green mountains, cliffs, lava rock, and palm trees for some amazing sunsets.
7. Açaí bowls and food trucks!
8. Napili Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches with amazing snorkeling on the protected side, fun waves to boogie board on the other end, and tide pools to explore.
9. Cliff jumping- so many fun places to explore and cliff jump!
10. Scuba diving- Maui is the best island to go shore diving on out of the Hawaiian islands. Not only will you see great marine life but in the winter months you can listen to the whales sing while you are underwater.

Reminiscing on warmer weather and the ocean today☀️🏝️ #2 on the countdown for my top 5 things to do on Grand Cayman Island is doing a swim ride with horses in the ocean. Highly recommend this unique and fun opportunity! 🐎

#3 is the beautiful reefs and abundant sea life. Grand Cayman has some great shore diving and snorkeling with easy access. Cemetery Beach was one of our favorite spots to snorkel! You can also take a boat excursion to the barrier reef or to see the shipwreck of the Kittiewake.

#4 is Starfish Point! On this amazing bay on the tip of Rum Point you have the opportunity to see all kinds of starfish. The water is very shallow and calm and it’s easy to walk around and spot them. They are truly so beautiful and very cool creatures. It is very important to note you should never lift the sea stars out of the water or handle them with sunscreen etc on your hands. It’s very enjoyable just to wade around and just watch them in their natural habitat.

It is time to start planning trips for 2024! I just returned from Grand Cayman and I will definitely be recommending this Caribbean island. Really great beaches, snorkeling, and a lot of other unique opportunities for some awesome memories. I am going to do a countdown post for my TOP 5 things we did while on Grand Cayman. Also, have some great restaurants and places to stay to recommend- Grand Cayman is a British territory that feels very safe along with getting to have the experience of driving on the opposite side of the road.😆 Just a reminder my services are free and I would love to help your family plan your next getaway!
Starting today with #5…the stone staircase into the ocean. This is a really cool stone staircase that winds into Barefoot beach which happens to have great snorkeling.🏝️🤿

Happy Saturday!☀️I know prior to being in this industry I only thought of using a travel agent for bigger international trips, but feel free to reach out and have me price check shorter getaways or local hotels. I saved a client about $400 off a hotel/flight this past week because of a special promo. Always happy to price check and see if I can find a better deal than Expedia(or the other big names) is offering. Now is the time to be booking those spring break trips or squeezing in a last minute fall break trip!

Have you ever wanted to see humpback whales up close in person? Now is the time of year to book a trip to Maui for this upcoming winter or spring for the whale watching season. Humpbacks migrate there every winter- you seriously can’t look at the ocean without seeing a whale during that season they are everywhere! It’s truly amazing! Take a snorkeling or dive excursion underwater and you can even hear them singing to each other. Even if whales aren’t your thing Maui has so much beauty to offer like the Road to Hana with black sand beaches and countless waterfalls! You can also go stargazing or watch the sunrise at the top of Haleakala with temps in the 30s for a change of pace from the beach that day.😊
