BREAKING NEWS: In a major crackdown on child prostitution, the FBI announced Monday that 150 arrests have been made in Operation Cross Country, and 105 children have been rescued nationwide. The roundup took place in 76 cities and involved 230 law enforcement units, according to authorities.

Ask Governor to Sign Bill Protecting Human Trafficking Victims! The Governor signed into law a bill (2010) which gave the authority to develop a pilot project, contingent upon local funding, to implement a multidisciplinary model to address the needs & effective treatment of victims of human trafficking. SB 114 would extend the pilot program (set to expire in 2014) until January of 2017. Make your voice heard!

This is awesome and exciting to see!!! Tennessee is strengthening their s*x trafficking laws! One of the laws, which will go into effect on July 1st, allows authorities to “prosecute those paying for s*x – the ‘johns’ – as traffickers.” This is such a critical step in the fight against human trafficking!
