Ahoy Breeze Cruisers. Today, we are going to talk about the ship. First, the Carnival Breeze is my favorite cruise ship. I also believe that the Dream class which includes Dream, Magic and Breeze are the best ships that Carnival have built to date. That is strictly personal opinion.
Breeze was built and launched on September 16th, 2011 which still makes her a fairly young cruise ship. Most ships are in service about 30 to 35 years. Breeze is 130,000 gross tons. She is 1004 feet long. That is 3 and one third football fields in length. At her widest point, Breeze is 122 feet wide. At double occupancy Breeze can hold 3690 Passengers. When every bed is occupied, Breeze can carry 4724 besides the 1386 staff members on board. In calm seas, Breeze has a top speed of 23mph.
Breeze was built in Monfalcone, Italy at Fincantieri Shipyard. She is registered in Panama and took about 3 years to build
