I love hiking and beer (and food and whiskey and wine). Adventures will be shared here. Life is meant to be a series of adventures. Life is what you make of it.

For most of us we tend to get lost in the everyday routines of our lives that we miss that beautiful world around us. This blog was started in hopes to inspire others to venture out and try new things. Seek adventure and suck the marrow from the bones of life. After realizing that life can change far too fast and no one should miss a moment not living it. This blog is a series of journeys and adve

ntures to not only help find clarity and peace in life, but also guide those that might seek similar adventures. I am not an expert; just an adventure seeker hoping to inspire others to step out of there everyday routines and live life. Adventures will include hiking, camping, breweries/distilleries, food and anything else that can add to life. Read a book, take a hike, be a kid again. If you think you can wait to live life and seek adventures you might get to the end of the trail and realize you are too tired to change course. Be a trailblazer and allow yourself to find the beauty in this world as your soul craves. Don't wait for the right time, that time may never come, just do it now!

PSA for almost everyone in North America! It’s hot! So even if you really really really want to go hiking, DONT! You are endangering first responders and that needs to stop. They have enough to do without having to save your butt because you are making bad choices!

When you are traveling, please make sure to do some research and planning about where you are going. For example, see what the weather predictions are (such as deadly hot), look at trail conditions (such as super hard) and plan accordingly including not hiking when it’s hot on a highly technical trail with no water (like never do that). When you are in highly remote areas, such as many national parks), you have to make sure to have supplies in case you get hurt, the weather or other conditions worsen, etc. Dont make poor decisions, your family and friends want you to be able to make it home!
