Happy Film Day in Oklahoma! As declared by Governor Kevin Stitt in 2021, ‘Film Day’ is annually recognized on August 3 in Oklahoma.

Oklahoma offers one of the most attractive film incentive markets in the country, including state, city & tribal. The state’s film incentive program is estimated to have created 11,150 hires and $159M in spend during FY23 and FY24.

We are incredibly grateful to all those who contribute to the vibrant film ecosystem in Oklahoma, including our workforce, businesses, educators, regional and local film offices as well as our state, city and tribal leadership!

Proud of Our Roots (and Our Routes)

El Reno is located in the heart of Oklahoma, where Interstate 40, Route 66 and the Chisholm Trail all meet. We got our start in 1889 as the home to a historic fort and then boomed as the Rock Island Railroad moved into town. Our small town charm and easy access to big city amenities have contributed to a steady stream of new businesses and events. With extraordinary museums and historic sites, the only rail based trolley in the state, beautiful architecture and one-of-a-kind cultural events, there is plenty to discover in El Reno. Whether you’re passing through or staying a little longer- you can fill your visit to El Reno with historic attractions, retail therapy, live music, and family-friendly events. Come spend the day with us and you’ll understand why we’re so proud of our roots (and our routes).
