We’ve come a long way!
We never dreamed we’d be seeding like this when we started Rustic Road Farm.
This drone was used to seed sorghum Sudan grass at the new farm. It’s a quick growing, high protein annual grass perfect for grazing animals and restoring overworked commercial fields.

Excited to welcome of first F1 Waygu to Rustic Road Farm.
Just a quiet night at Rustic Road Farm and goats in the house.
Look at Valentina go!
What a difference a day makes!
Hola Valentina!
She got off to a rough start but she’s doing well now.
Born on Valentine’s Day, Valentina’s mom was confused and rejected her. Weak, not able to stand and needing a bottle every two hours we decided it was easier to bring her in the house.
Today she’s standing and walking and doing much better. With blue eyes, long legs and floppy ears she is quite the looker and will remain on the farm.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Rustic Road Farm, Valentina!
Happy Saturday! Today we are in Wheaton at the Indoor Market (117 W Wesley)
Stop in and get some warm soup for this chilly day.
