Taylor Family YMCA Adventure Princesses This YMCA sponsored program, formally Indian Princesses, is designed for dads to spend quality time w Several circles make up our Expedition.

The purpose of the YMCA Adventure Princess Program is to foster companionship between a Dad and daughter. This program is designed for dads to spend quality time with their daughters one on one doing activities like campouts, hayrides and pinewood derby car races. Dads and daughters are organized into circles with other dads and children from their neighborhood areas. Once a month, each circle wil

l have a monthly meeting at a circle member’s house or school and do an activity with their children. Several times a year the Expeditions will have special events. We have two expeditions that make up our Federation. The Princess Expedition is for dads and daughters in K-6 grade and the Guides Expedition is for dads and sons in K-6 grade.

Attention new members: Saturday night during our Fall Camp Out is a very fun night with cabin decoration contest, trick or treating for kids, Halloween costume contest. Please bring a bag of candies to give out to kids roaming between cabins. Think of a special costume for your daughter - she might be the one winning a contest! Handmade costumes are much appreciated as well as those bought in the store. Use your full imagination to create a Halloween character!

Spring Campout - Important Capacity Update: This year we were allocated a number of cabins that can accommodate a maximum of 126 campers. Tecumseh is in high demand among multiple regional teams this year.
I'm encouraging not to delay your registration if you are planning to attend especially if your daughter is graduating this year. Graduation is a bittersweet moment for both dad and a daughter. Of course every graduate is very welcomed as alumni in upcoming years, however the specific moment in time you don't want to miss is very precious.
As soon as we reach capacity we may need to start a waiting list and try to negotiate more cabins.
