Dive into summer fun and learn new skills with the City Rowing Club! ⛵

With different classes all summer long, there is ample opportunity to get out on the beautiful Pasquotank River! 🌊

Adult Summer Session: Fri, Sat, Sun, May 31st-Aug 30th, 700-830am 14 weeks for $175. There will be a brief orientation and 10-15 min demo at the start of each day. All abilities are welcome. Based on who we have each day and what skills are being worked on you will be placed in different boats to gain a breadth of experience.

Learn to Row Camp/Intensive: Jul 22-26th 700-930am. Cost $150. Ages 12+, adults and youth. This will be direct coaching and focus on where the student or adult needs the most instruction. Based on their ability level they will be placed in boats (4's or 8's) with some of our team rowers or be in a single scull.

Private Lessons: These are one-to-one lessons for 1.5 hrs with either our Coach or one of our Varsity rowers qualified to teach. Cost is $150 These can be scheduled any Fri or Sat 700-830am or if another time works better for you we can do our best to accommodate.

Youth Rowing Team: Ages 12-18. Our rowing team practices on Tues and Thurs 700-830am Jun11th-Jul30th. Cost is $175

🌹 **Rose Buddies Reception Highlights!** 🌹

Last night, the Museum of the Albemarle was abuzz with excitement as they hosted the much-anticipated Rose Buddies Reception! The evening was a delightful celebration of community and camaraderie, filled with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and beautiful memories.

Guests enjoyed a spectacular display of roses, curated exhibits, and a special presentation highlighting the history and impact of the Rose Buddies. The ambiance was perfect, with elegant décor, and delicious refreshments that added to the charm of the night.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, particularly our special guest Elizabeth Hudson with Our State Magazine who contributed to making this event so special. Your support helps us preserve and share our rich local heritage. 🌸
