--I know the picture page is a little full - but I wanted you to see what the yellow and the orange watermelons look like! They are sweet and delicious.
--Blueberries are nearly over; once these are gone that will be it. -----Green beans and red beets are also in season.

--NEW ITEM - SUMMER SAUSAGE! You've been asking for it, now we have it! Two flavors available - Garlic or Original.
--Try our other recent additions to the deli - Garlic & Herb Jack Cheese, Tomato Basil Turkey Breast.
--Yellow (or orange) watermelon are also now available! I love the flavor! Regular seedless watermelon, Sugar Baby Watermelon, and seeded watermelons have been really good, and cantaloupes have been delicious!
--Green Beans and Red Beets are also making their appearance. Still lots of Sweet Corn - white (Glacial) or bi-color (Kate).

Strawberries are still here, but winding down, so grab a few while you still can. 🙁 Seems like an extra short season this year!
Sugar Peas are facing the same fate; their season will soon be past as well.

Watermelon and Cantaloupe have been very sweet and delicious so far this year.

Fish Pie - anyone familiar with the PA Dutch Fish Pie? Thanks to the late Henry Boyer for a splendid recipe - we've been making Fish Pies for the last 2 weeks. I'd love to hear your feedback on it. (No, there's no fish in it at all! Try a slice if you're not sure about a whole pie.) From what I read there's a very small area of PA that's use to it.

Welcome to March! It really is the "kite month" already!
The new Cheddar Garlic Dill cheese is back - we thought it was for a limited time only but it was in such high demand that we've put it in stock for now. Smoked Honey Roasted Turkey is another customer favorite - stock up while its on sale!

In addition to the Garlic & Herb Bacon, 2 other new items are Zooks Vegetable Pie (delicious!) and Corned Beef. The Vegetable Pie is frozen, you thaw and bake. The Corned Beef is a seasonal item, usually for St. Patrick's Day.
