The Elkins Depot Welcome Center is located in the 1908 Western Maryland Railroad depot, the Welcome Center is part of historic downtown Elkins and the departure location for the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad’s Elkins excursion trains. Over 42,000 visitors walk through the doors of the Welcome Center each year to find information on lodging, eateries, historic sites, museums, music venues, train excursions and current events.
Randolph County offers a variety of unusual museums and shops, as well as diverse restaurants. Awarded the Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor for the past four years, the Welcome Center strives to provide a wide assortment of information about Elkins, Randolph County and the surrounding area.
