Drove to meet Caren’s sister, Sandy today for one last hug before we see her again in California after New Years.

Upon returning, we beat the heat in the pool that has managed to stay cool. Now it’s R&R time!

So after a great time partying with some new Dutch friends we bid farewell to our host Paul and started North again - take 2. We’ve landed in Bushnell as we couldn’t return to finish our lease in Cedar Key. On the 8th we resume our scheduled itinerary stopping at a Harvest Host in Sopchoppy, FL enroute to Navarre where we have a site backing the beach on the Gulf. 2nd pic is us heading out from our friend’s acreage near Parrish, 3rd pic is set in Breezy Oaks (Bushnell)

So we left Cedar Key yesterday (29th) and headed back to where we started two weeks prior (South of Tampa Bay). Had we stayed in Cedar Key we would have become a houseboat (literally). Back on our friends acreage we were/are high and dry. We endured medium rain and 30mph winds last night - just another blustery evening.

Cedar Key was our 1st destination on what will most likely be a multi-year journey. What luck to be evacuated on our 1st stay. Our 2nd stop location is also the panhandle and I’m sure it’s toast as well. Itinerary changes before we’ve barely started 😕.

Let the adventure continue!

We're setup in our 1st official itinerary location. We're on the water in Cedar Key - a little town on Western shores of Florida. There is only single road access, and its a fair ways from anything, so it doesn't get a lot of traffic, which is the way we like it. We're here until Sept 9th. So far so good ... I think we'll enjoy it, especially Dock St. where all the dive bars and resteraunts are.
