Enjoy the amenities of the Coosawattee Resort while enjoying privacy in this spacious mountain cabin. My family and I have been visiting various areas in Northern Georgia for about 7 years. We fell in love with the mountains and the beauty of the hiking trails. We particularly enjoyed the fresh air and discovering majestic waterfalls. It made the trip more enjoyable and comfortable for the whole f

amily. As we were continually drawn to the area, we decided to invest in our own cabin to allow us to share this beauty with others. We visited various towns in Northern Georgia before we settled on Elijay. We started in Helen. It’s so beautiful and quaint. However, many others have also discovered Helen and it’s become a bit too crowded. We wanted an area with access to hiking and adventures but also offered some peace and privacy. The day we visited Elijay, we knew we had found the perfect spot. It’s in the ideal location that allows a short trip to visit Blue Ridge, Blairesville and of course the Amicalola Falls. You’ll see many pictures of our hikes along the falls because we absolutely love it. We even made prints for the cabin. Once we decided to purchase a cabin in Elijay, we looked at different neighborhoods. We tried to find the perfect location that would allow our guests to have the most enjoyable stay. We found the Coosawattee Resort. It’s absolutely perfect. The resort offers many amenities like heated swimming pools, tennis courts and a workout facility. Visitors can go fishing and take walks. Despite being in the resort, the cabin is on a large piece of property offering the feeling of seclusion with the benefit of resort amenities. The first time we saw this cabin, we knew it was meant for us. We envisioned toasty nights by the fireplace and sitting on the porch in the morning for coffee while the deer walked by. Every time, I visit my cabin I do not want to leave. However, my other life involves running a wellness clinic in Florida so I cannot live in Elijay just yet. That’s good news for our guests as we want to share this experience with others.

There are many wineries nearby. I had a great visit with friends. We used the transportation service Libation Transportation to safely visit multiple vineyards.
