Wow… what a year! From raw land in February to hosting our first guests at the end of November. It’s been the absolute craziest ride imaginable but I wouldn’t take back a second of it. Massive thanks to the long list of people who helped make this place happen and shoutout to our first 13 groups of guests that we got to host in 2023 (: Can’t wait to host thousands more in the years to come! Looking forward to what 2024 holds! 📸⛰️🏠

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! The lens of the camera has finally been constructed (which is also the bedroom :) Big shoutout to all of the workers that made this happen as those rings are 100+ pounds each!

Good evening everybody! I want this account to be a story of how this Airbnb has come to be and show you everything that happens along the way. That being said firstly I want to show you all each of the renderings that have been made thus far for this project. The first three are the renderings that came with the final building plans in November and is what the actual layout of the house will be! The following renderings are all the initial renderings I had done in August when I initially came up with the idea and are what helped me win the contest. As you can see the initial renderings didn’t account for the lay of the land nor did it have a deck or anything outside really. I love our new renderings so much more as I can truly see it coming to life in my head on the natural lay of the land. We got to add well over 200 square feet of deck space and a hot tub for the future guests to enjoy too! (: We also had to change from the initial idea of building it out of used shipping containers to building it from the ground up as certain restrictions did not allow us to use shipping containers. Now that we’ve perfected the design we can’t wait to see it all come together in real life!
