Well, the GREAT NEWS is there is a HIGH DEMAND for LINE DANCING SOCIAL EVENTS post-pandemic! Currently, the weekly event attendance at the Green Dragon Sports Tavern has been a bit low probably due to a combination of Summer family vacations (finally!!!) and outdoor activities. The business owners of the "Green Dragon Sports Tavern" understand & support all the above, so the next FIRST WEDNESDAYS LINE DANCE EVENT will be scheduled for 7-7-21! As a community business owner myself, I always want to support local businesses, especially after such a difficult year, so I am asking all my students to actively show their support to this valued venue that employs a variety of local artists (musicians & dancers) in our community! FUN-TASTIC things are happening at KDS!!! A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who attended the LINE DANCE MANIA SOCIAL EVENT on Saturday, and the yummy dishes brought in for all to share were delicious! It was truly a warm gathering of friends and family :-). Donna Walker taught a wonderful Pre-Event Line Dance Class to attendees from Blue Ridge, Tennessee, Jasper along with our students from Ellijay. And thank you SANDY SCHUBERT for your active participation with your delightful and talented students!!! Here's a "taste" from Saturday evening:

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND! In tribute to all the great Mothers out there, here's my precious Mom enjoying Zumba class yesterday! This was her first outing since having hip replacement surgery. She's doing much better, but may still require some back surgery, so keep her in your prayers. And THANK YOU Irene and the ladies in class for warmly welcoming my Mom. She had a ball! :-)

AWESOME!!! This weekend's "STOMP, SLAP, & CLAP MINI-WORKSHOP" was a great success and crazy fun! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended and BIG HUGS for the workshop instructors who truly poured their heart and soul into the three hour teaching session. MASTER INSTRUCTOR, LESLIE THOMPSON along with SAM & DONNA WALKER taught beginner and intermediate line dances covering a variety of music genres. Check out our video to see a portion of what was covered! :-) We look forward to providing a new monthly SATURDAY NIGHT LINE DANCE CLASS WITH SOCIAL EVENT starting in April. Stay tuned for the date! We had SO MUCH FUN during Saturday's BEGINNER LINE DANCE CLASS with our guest, LESLIE THOMPSON (Master Line Dance Instructor). Leslie was a model student graciously helping those around her with the more difficult steps and getting to know the students in preparation for the upcoming SSC ("Stomp, Slap, & Clap") LINE DANCE MINI-WORKSHOP & SOCIAL EVENT on 2-21-15. GREAT ATTENDANCE last night for Beginner and Intermediate Line Dance Classes! Sam Walker (instructor) courageously stepped in to teach both classes for his wife Donna, who is recovering from the flu (We miss you Donna! Hope you are feeling better:-). In Donna's absence, students worked on a variety of dances... students in the Beginner Class mastered "The Wobble" (check out Sam's fancy moves) and student in the Intermediate Class mastered "Its All About the Bass" (on ALL 4 walls!):
