We were able to take a group from Heartland Travel Adventures, LLC to a tour of Underground Kansas yesterday! We went to Strataca (KS Underground Salt Museum), The Historic Wolf Hotel & The Ellinwood Underground, and the Atlas Ad Astra - Missile Silo!
We also had a DELICIOUS lunch at the new 10-39 Cafe in Ellinwood and grabbed some fantastic meat sticks at Ellinwood Packing Plant, Inc. for an afternoon snack!
It was a great day!!

Just to update you, The Ellinwood Emporium is open again but our hours are kind of irregular. I am doing great with recovery from back surgery and am going to physical therapy three times a week. So, I am trying to be open at least 3-4 hours on Monday and Thursday-Saturday. Tours of the Underground and the Wolf Hotel have not been affected and tours can be scheduled on-line or by calling the Wolf Hotel. Hopefully in a few weeks I will be able to resume regular hours. I appreciate your understanding.
