Although Garnet Owl and Ruby Owl (our West Jefferson, NC locations) were spared the brunt of Hurricane Helene, many of our friends, family, and broader communities weren’t so fortunate. Western North Carolina is made up of the most amazing mountain towns both big and small and many have been heavily impacted. While the full extent of damage will take weeks to truly understand and comprehend as these areas begin to regain access to electricity, water, drivable roads, etc, we already know that the people there are in dire need of support.

Please consider making donations to assist with the short term needs of our beautiful mountain communities and the longer term rebuilding efforts that are going to take time, money, and true North Carolina grit to complete. A couple of worthy organizations suggestions:
