The Teachers College welcomes Dr. Sara Schwerdtfeger as its new dean! Dr. Schwerdtfeger is an Emporia State alum with 25 years of experience as an educator. She has also served as the interim dean of The Teachers College since May 2023.

This weekend we had the opportunity to celebrate four amazing individuals for their service to the University. Congratulations to Diane Beatty, Tyler Curtis, Linda Hurt and Michael Law for earning the distinction of University Service Citation awardee. We appreciate and Thank You for your service to ESU!

On this Veterans Day, we pause to salute our Veterans and Thank them and honor them for the sacrifices made.

Today we also reflect on our Veterans and Volunteer celebration held this past Saturday. Special thank you Dr. Gregory Burger, and Command Sergeant Major Cynthia D. Agler for your special remarks and for all of those in attendance, thank you for your service.
