About Compass Balloons
Our FAA certified commercial pilots will provide you with the experience of a lifetime. They have all logged thousands of flights and have decades of flight experience. Our pilots have put many years into perfecting their craft, and take great pride in providing you with a safe and unforgettable journey. They have flown all over the world from Mexico to the Swiss Alps while maintaining a perfect safety record. Prior to each flight, multiple weather checks are performed to ensure safe and enjoyable conditions.
During the hot air balloon flight, our pilots safely navigate the skies while sharing fun facts about the local landmarks. They are happy to answer all questions you may have, and share in your excitement as you take in the unparalleled views. When preparing to land, our pilots will talk you through all safety procedures to ensure a gentle transition back to mother earth. Their goal is to be your friendly, knowledgable guide on your balloon adventure from start to finish.
About Our Staff
The quality of your experience means everything to us, and it starts with our ground crew. Upon arrival at our meeting site you will be greeted by our friendly staff. They will get you checked in, and make sure you are ready for your flight by answering any questions you may have. Then after a short van ride over to the launch site the ground crew takes on the task of preparing the balloon for flight. Our crew works efficiently and methodically during the set up to ensure the system is always safely assembled. After all proper safety checks have been made the pilot and crew will start the inflation process, getting you one step closer to lift off. When the balloon inflation is complete the crew will assist passengers into the basket. Once all passengers are in the basket and ready for flight, the ground crew will offer to take a few pictures before you launch to commemorate your experience. A final launch inspection is performed by pilot and crew and once the safety lines are released, you're off!
