Near shore charter today. Last minute trip. Plenty of fish on the screen but not many keepers today. However, Carm did manage a keeper grouper. These guys had fun though and were happy they came out.

That big grouper spit out this crab. Kinda neat looking for a crab though.

Today's 5 person 6 hour near shore charter: Had to launch at 7am. Told them we will have to adjust where we fish based on storms. Leave stump pass and see the first storm cell dropping rain. We got to our spot, and put some small LANE snapper and Grunts in the box.

Lightning and thunder and a big cell moving in on us. Time to move. Made the call to move north. Only problem is, I didn't have any spots in that area that I knew of. Idled around as I was looking for fish, and kept telling them I wanted to go where the storm was. Boy oh boy did that last move pay off.

Totally new spots found... put 6 keeper groupers in the boat, bunch of lanes, Grunts, and sand perch. Boated at least 8 groupers that were an inch short, and countless more that were really small. However, it's always fun to see them.

Nice 6 person nearshore trip the other day. These kids had a blast and said the fishing was the highlight of their trip down....even over Disney. Looking forward to having them come out again someday.

Kade and I getting it done today. Taking advantage of the flat water. Too good to turn down going offshore. Saw a massive sea turtle. And only managed to get sharked once today. Stud mangroves, and some nice red groupers. One even coughed up a baby octopus it had eaten. Kinda gross but cool at same time.

Side note: it's plain disgusting picking up after other fisherman. Watch your trash people. I sure do hope this wasn't a captain throwing out his trash. We literally picked up 3 boxes of herring, and a bottle/coffee cup trail a blind man could follow, and a balloon. Obviously the party balloon wasn't from a fisherman. Lol.

Great day offshore. Bumpy to start and wasn't going to venture out the full way... stopped short and boated some lanes. Laid down and the ladies said ok to go deeper. Turned out to be a great call, even getting over taxed by the tax man.

Got lucky getting this stupid shark up and to the boat... tax the tax man is what we tried to do. Thanks for finally allowing us to get you out on the water Dan and Dana.

Nice little charter today. Moved around a lot to find better pods of fish. Nice and flat out today. These North Dakota families had fun reeling in lots of fish.

Nice charter today last minute. This couple from Wisconsin had a great day on the water. Thank you Dan Lowell and Cherith DeFabbio for coming aboard and catching some fish today.

Side note: she caught 1 just shy of keeper size, then got this nice grouper to go home for dinner. Great job guys. Glad you came out today. Let me know how you enjoy those grouper fillets. Was a bit sporty on way out but laid down nice on way in.

Dolphins were active the other day. Always enjoy the shows they put on. Water temps are getting nice. It was 86 degrees this day. There are still a bunch of dates open for sandbar/intercoastal trips.

Great day on the water with friends from Michigan. Little Gasparilla Beach, then went 5 miles out and boated a few small fish...then back to stump pass. Saw a big ray that was cruising by. Lots of dolphins.
Even got to finally meet capt. Patrick of TanMan Charters FL.

The SEATOW crew's hard at work pulling derelict vessels out of the water today. 1 sail boat out and working on another big boat still. Good job guys. Keep our waterway cleaned up.

5 hour sandbar and intercoastal trip today for the McDaniels' families. A tad windy but that didn't stop them from having fun and enjoying Stump Pass. Thanks for coming out and enjoying the day with us.

Borkowskis, Lenny and Karen. Last minute intercoastal trip. Dodging rain cells, but man oh man... the dolphins and manatees were out to play today. So many dolphins everywhere we went.

5 hour charter today with a family from Maine. They had fun, and so did we. Side note: there was a great white shark on the whale carcass today, along with many other sharks. A different captain posted it.

Intercoastal trip. Sherri, Lily, Molly, Garrett, Gary, and Rob had a good time at Little Gasparilla looking for shells, watching a bald eagle, and enjoying a day on the water. We ended up at stump pass before calling it a day.

Little 6 hour intercoastal/lunch trip with a group of people. Nokomos sunset hut never fails. Dolphin watching, view of the whale on venice beach from the boat, swimming at Little Gasparilla Beach, and new friends. Perfect day.

88 keepers today. Many released and lots of fun had by all. Way too long to clean them all though. Lol.

Today was beautiful heading out. Made it to 90ft and was all smooth. Got a little more bumpy but plowed thru to 140ft.
Bad mistake.

Today was our worst day ever offshore. 4 hours to get in... 6 to 8 footers until we got back to 80ft. Then was able to speed up a bit. I've never been that soaked and not jumped in the water.

Nobody got seasick and if they can make it thru that, they will be good thru anything.

Had the Sourbeck family out on a short trip today. Big rollers to start, but laid down nice on way in. Bite was tough today for us. Lots of short red grouper, Grunts, a few lane snappers, porgies, lizard fish, squirrel fish, and a few that we will never know what we had.

Good day on the water, even with another cold start. We didn't keep many fish today, just enough for a meal or two.

Guys trip today. Was darn cold 48 degrees to get started. Big rollers leftover from yesterday.. water all churned up. Still managed to find a few. Not as many as I would've liked, but conditions wise, I'll take it.

The guys were troopers. This is by far the coldest boat trip I've been out on since being in florida. Had a charter back out, so they guys and I went out today, since tomorrow looks like a windy day too. Aleksey got a little quoozy but never chummed any fish. All in all, still a great day on the water.

Had a couple coworkers out today looking for some groupers. Conditions not the best. Big rollers, and we only seen 2 other boats out. Rick got the big grouper, and Ivan chummed them up for us.

Today we had the Burg family out to catch some fish. The kids did great. Mom was a champ even though she got a little sick. Dad had a blast too.

Threw back most of the Grunts, but was a great day on the water. Red Grouper, gag Grouper, porgie, Grunts, puffer fish, lane snapper, and even a couple lesser amberjack.

Sea turtles were out casually watching us. Dolphins close by are always fun to watch.

Bit sporty on the way out today. But it laid down nice and these kids had a good time. Thanks to my buddy John for helping out today. Wish red grouper was open, cause we would be eating grouper tonight.
