Os, after many requests from my fellow Red Hatters I am going to do another RED HAT cruise. We will be on the Carnival Glory out of Miami, Feb 11th, 2017. That gives you plenty of time to get your pennies together. It is a 7 day and the ports of call are, Grand Cayman, Isla Roatan,Belize and Cozumel. All are great stops and all have a lot to offer. If you like adventure, and I have done this several times, come swim with the sting rays in Grand Cayman, both Roatan and Belize are wonderful countries to explore and Cozumel has great beaches and great shopping..

Well, I back from my Christmas
Cruise. First let me say I will never do that again. Silly me I completely forgot that the line I went on has a deal where children 0 to 11 sail free 12 to 17 sail for $99. Pp you second mistake was it was a holiday...DUH!!! 4,300 PEOPLE on that ship a.d 800 were children. Don't get me wrong, I love kids but......
This ship, the MSC DIVINA does have a children's program but you have to pay for it. So.......most didn't.
Thanks ship it self was very nice, food was good but it lacked shipboard activities. There were a few but not many.
If you wanted to enjoy the pool,there are 3 or the hot tub, there are 4 you had to give up a day ashore.In all it was an interesting trip.

In October we are doing a mystery trip. Know you will have a GREAT time!!!
Last year I started a group that meets on the second Thursday of the month at the Englewood Elks. It is open to all ladies . We are called the Gallavantn' Gals. We do trips, have speakers in to talk on a different subject each month. we have a lot of fun and there is no membershp fee involved... Next meeting is Sept 11th. Come and join us..

We just did a day trip on a beautiful yacht. Went down the Innner coastal waterway to John's pass. had breakfast and lunch on the yacht. It was a lovely day.
On Dec 8th we are doing a fundraiser cruise for the food panrty and homeless shelter in Englewood. Let me know if you are interested. It's a 5 day with really good prices

Just did a short(5 day) cruise on MSC cruise ship the Poesia to check it out. What a surprise... It is a beautiful Italian ship. Our cabin was inside but large. The staff was great the food was beyond good. In all the whole experience was Fab....Here is the good part for those of you with little ones on a tight budget.. 0-11 yrs old GO FREE. Yes, that's right FREE. 11-17 yrs are $99, plus and port charges. Usually $32.-$92. depending on the length of the cruise.. I have 2 trips planned . One for Dec. (a 10 day) and one for Jan (a 7 day) the best part is... If you book an inside cabin you get an oceanview, book an ocean view you get a balcony, with a balcony you geta Suite.. Such a deal... Let me know if you are interested.. the prices are really goos and remember the FREE kids!!!!

I just got back from a short cruise on the Carnival Paradise out of Tampa. It just made the long trip from Long Beach, Calf. to Tampa and will be here for the long term. If you get a chance to cruise this ship you will love it. It is small, easy to get around on and very pretty. It stops in Grand Cayman and Cozumel. It is a 5 day .. just enough time to relax and rewind from the crazy life in the real world...

When booking your cruise, have your travel agent tell you about the land excursions available in each port.. book them before you leave. that way you are sure to be able to go. some tours sell out quickly..You don't want to miss out. On some of the Island we have people that will take you on a private tour where you actually see the island, shop where they shop, eat where they eat, not all the tourist traps..

If you haven't seen the new RCCL Allure, you really have to check it out. they say that the ship is the destination and it really is. there is sooooo much to see and do on the ship you will never want to leave.. There is something for everyone. I had a blacony cabin that over looked Central Park. WOW!!! At night you could sit out there and look up at the stars and down at the activity going on in the park (There are live trees and plantings!!! wonderful shops and GREAT resturants. I have never seen such great entertainment as they have on the ship.
