In the 1970s, their two King Airs revolutionized air ambulance services for a children's hospital leased through Rocky Mountain Airlines. In 1978, Mayo Aviation was established, now a testament to their early vision. Over the years, Mayo Aviation expanded its operations, fostering strong partnerships with Flight For Life and enhancing medical transportation capabilities. Today, Mayo Aviation continues to uphold Gwen Mayo's commitment to excellence and service in aviation.
