We are hoping everyone is recovering from the storm with minimal issues. In our area the speed at which the recovery is taking place has almost been beyond belief! All of our employees, boats and docks are okay but unfortunately our local waters are still loaded with debris and will take some time to heal. As navigating is not safe for our employees or customers at this time we will be closed until sometime early in November. At that time we will re-evaluate the conditions and either open tour operations again or delay opening until such time where we can safely get back on the water. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these difficult times and may everyone have a safe and speedy recovery!

Our Commitment to You Through COVID-19

Our communities are facing a challenge of incredible scale and significance, and our hearts go out to all who have been affected by COVID-19 (coronavirus).

These are unsettling times, but despite the pervasive uncertainty, you can be sure we will get through this together, and that Riding The Waves is committed to the health and well-being of our customers, employees, business partners and our community.

As a tour services company we have endured trying times with our customers that have included red tide, hurricanes and now pandemics. We will continue to make decisions with vigilance to positively support your health, life, and safety. To that end, my colleagues and I are making the following pledge to our customers and community:
• We will strive to the best of our ability to provide our customers and community with the highest possible level of service under extraordinary and evolving circumstances.
• We will do all we can to protect the health of our customers and colleagues while at our facilities.
• We will go above and beyond to help customers and community get through this challenging time.
• We will communicate in a timely and transparent way about issues affecting our customers.
Riding The Waves will remain operational on our regular schedule until such time that we are required to close down. Riding The Waves is one of the few things you and your families can continue to do while safely practicing Social Distancing. In addition to limiting our group sizes to a maximum of six people per tour, our staff is taking the extra precaution of sanitizing all of our equipment and our boats after each and every tour so our customers can enjoy their time on the water, get some fresh air and a short respite from worrying about Covid-19.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and evaluate additional measures to support our customers and community. Please visit us at www.RidingTheWaves.cool or our page for the most up-to-date information. Remember, we are here for you and would like to remind everyone that if they are feeling even slightly ill to please follow the CDC guidelines and remain in your home for the safety of our employees and the entire community. Should the need arise, we will be offering everyone the opportunity to reschedule their tour at a future date or if that is not possible, we will provide you with a refund.

Thank you for your patronage and we look forward to seeing you soon.

So What is a Personal Powered Catamaran?

Our fleet is sure to catch your attention at first glance! But what are these little boats? Well we like to refer to them as our Personal Powered Catamarans.

During each tour guests enjoy the independence of operating their own boat, while one of our expert guides leads the way. Each boat accommodates 2 people side by side. While we are able to accommodate up to 12 people on any single tour. These boats are designed not only for fun, but also with safety and simplicity of operation in mind. Our catamarans give the maneuverability of an air-boat while also being very stable.

Before each tour our guides provide all guests with a Safety Briefing, going over the boats controls and other valuable information regarding our local boating and wildlife regulations. Our teams main concern is Safety and we take extra caution in ensuring that all of our guests have a fun and safe time on the water. So if your not a big boater, that’s no problem. We will make sure everyone is comfortable and confident while they are Riding The Waves!

If you have any questions or concerns regarding boat accessibility, weight limit, or special accommodations. Please feel free to call us at (941)-208-6442 or send us a email at [email protected]
