The Wassamasaw Tribe of Varnertown Indians is honored to announce a historic Tribal Alliance Signing Ceremony, marking the first time in South Carolina history that Native American tribes have formally committed to supporting one another for the betterment of their communities through an official contemporary treaty. This event has the support of Governor Henry McMaster, making it a truly landmark occasion.
